Sue Nowak has taken the new state record at Lake Havasu.
“I thought it was a tree stump or rock,”
Sue Nowak said. “Then the snag moved.”
That “snag” turned out to be a 21-inch, 6.28-pound smallmouth bass
Which is a Colorado River waters hook-and-line state record.
Nowak caught it around noon on Thursday, Feb. 23 with a dropshot-rigged True Image mini shaker lemonade worm. She was fishing with Shaun Bailey’s Guide Service in Lake Havasu City.
Congratulations!
